Web Technician
The successful candidate will join a team of 6 professionals responsible for the implementation and maintenance of advanced web applications hosted by Ashley Associates in one of Japan's most advanced datacenters. The candidate will work with others to ensure that the applications are correctly configured and continuously available. Applicants should, as a minimum, be able to install, configure and support Red Hat Linux and Apache based systems. Some knowledge of alternative operating systems (particularly MS Windows) and other databases (such as MS SQL Server) would be useful but is not essential.
The current work environment is friendly and supportive. We are anxious to preserve this environment and screen applicants accordingly.
